Yes, it's true I was born an old  romantic. To be honest I would say perhaps 90% of the population was born the same way, but of course there are always the odd one or two who are completely against showing any loving tendencies to their other halves, (no matter what rewards could be on offer if they only tried a little romance once in a while).
You often hear some people moan about Valentine's day and how it's very commercial and to a degree  I know this is true, but that doesn't mean you have to pretend it doesn't exist just to make a point.  A little gesture goes a long way and I don't mean that you have to go out and buy the most expensive flowers or gifts to prove your love, far from it. However, I do believe that if you go to the trouble of remembering your loved one on this special day (no matter how small the gift or token) it simply shows that you  are in 'the spirit of love' and surely that can't be a bad thing now can it?
Just remembering why you fell in love in the first place is always a good start. Spending time together is naturally the most crucial and the most rewarding.  Remembering those early days of your relationship will for most bring a smile on your face and a romantic meal together will always bring out the best of you .
I wish everyone a very Happy Valentine's Day that is filled with love and treasured memories. Remember to keep on loving long after today has ended and before you know it you'll be celebrating many wonderful years together.

Best wishes and lots of love,

Lynette

So here I am lounging about looking as though I am taking things easy, but don't be fooled! This is me after trying to start the synopsis for my up and coming second novel 'Betrayer's of Magic'. The pressure is actually on because I would like the book out before Christmas. 'Betrayer's of Magic' is the second book in the trilogy of my heroine, Crystal and her immortal family.  In book 2 we have an amazing character called 'Clump' and I know he will steal your heart away just like he did mine...
